There are some really important questions you need to ask when renting a mechanical bull. If you are shopping around to rent an item like this, please keep in mind that cost isn’t all that matters. Sometimes it’s much more costly to go with the cheapest vendor. Entertaining guests is important, but always consider safety first!
Key information to consider and questions to ask the rental company:
- One of your very first questions should be if the bull is insured.
- For an outdoor public event in Kansas, you need to ensure the bull has a permit and is complaint with the Kansas Amusement Ride Act guidelines.
- What kind of safety features does the bull have such as automatic shut off, soft horns, padded head, and an inflatable landing pad with a wall that is at least 10′ in diameter.
- Is an operator included in the price. Some companies drop it off and quickly “train” someone at your event. In this situation, your bull is not insured.
- Is the delivery fee included in the quote and for how long is the rental.
- Ensure the power requirements and space is available at your event location for the bull console and base setup.
CC&E has three different mechanical bull base options that you can choose to coordinate with the theme of your event. For more information on renting one of our mechanical bulls, give us a call.
